Carlablackiae OG.OG × (Silver Tiger × Muchlis)
OG.OG was originally selected by Scott Cohen and came to me through Mike Yoon of #BreedWithIntent. This side brings the classic Carla energy I wanted to protect: dark velvet, controlled structure, refined venation and a mature plant that carries itself without doing too much.
This is a Kartel Daun selected plant with a completely different visual language. Heavy silver vein architecture, texture, movement, wider sinus expression and the kind of structural weirdness that can take a clean plant somewhere unexpected.
This one is basically restraint versus disruption.
OG.OG brings the depth, substance and quiet authority. Silver Tiger × Muchlis brings the chaos. I wasn’t trying to overpower the Carla. I wanted to disturb it just enough and see which seedlings found the right balance.
Every sprout is genetically unique. At this stage, these are directions from the parents, not promises.
At one leaf this cross is still a question, which is exactly why I like it. I’m especially interested in the seedlings that keep OG.OG’s dark restraint while letting the silver side creep farther into the blade as the plant matures.

I select from the available batch at shipping time, starting with the strongest, healthiest material and the best expression of the traits I’m watching for at that stage. If one is showing out and makes me stop and say, “Sheesh,” that is usually the one I’m reaching for.
