Silver Tiger × Muchlis
Kartel Daun Selected Plant
⸻
This pairing brings together two completely different approaches to collector Anthurium.
OG.OG represents classic Carlablackiae refinement.
Dark velvet.
Controlled structure.
Clean mature presence.
Silver Tiger × Muchlis moves in the opposite direction with extreme silver venation, texture, movement, and unusual architecture.
The goal was to preserve the elegance and depth of OG.OG while introducing the aggressive silver vein network and structural personality of the Kartel Daun parent.
Not to overpower the Carla.
To disrupt it just enough.

Kartel Daun Selected Plant
Known For
• Thick silver lightning-like venation
• Dense vein architecture with dramatic visual contrast
• Wide sinus expression
• Ruffled, dynamic leaf margins
• Distinctive rat-tail termination
• Strong mature texture and movement
Silver Tiger × Muchlis contributes silver, architecture, texture, and a much more aggressive visual language.

This project was created to explore what happens when classic Carlablackiae restraint meets extreme silver expression.
OG.OG brings the depth, substance, and quiet authority.
Silver Tiger × Muchlis brings the disruption.
The hope is to produce seedlings that retain the elegance of Carlablackiae while developing stronger silver bleeding, more expressive vein architecture, and enough structural movement to make each phenotype feel completely individual.
This is less about chasing novelty and more about introducing tension into an already beautiful form.
⸻
• Deep black to dark green velvet foliage
• Narrow to elegantly elongated leaf profiles possible
• Bold high-contrast venation
• Silver bleeding beyond the primary veins possible
• Wide or more expressive sinus development
• Ruffled or subtly undulating margins possible
• Excellent mature leaf substance
• Wide phenotypic variation between seedlings
Every seedling will be genetically unique.

One fresh seed from the
Carlablackiae OG.OG × (Silver Tiger × Muchlis)
pairing.
This seed has not yet germinated.
Germination timing, vigor, vein expression, leaf shape, silver influence, and mature structure will depend on genetics and growing conditions.
⸻
Some crosses are made because you already know what you want.
Others are made because the possibilities are too interesting to leave unexplored.
This is the second kind.
OG.OG brings proven Carlablackiae quality and a timeless mature presentation.
Silver Tiger × Muchlis introduces a completely different visual language through silver, texture, ruffling, and movement.
I’m especially interested in what happens if the offspring retain OG.OG’s dark velvet restraint while allowing the silver influence to push beyond the veins and into the surrounding leaf surface.
That is where this project could get very interesting.

Classic Carla restraint on one side. Silver chaos on the other. The next generation gets to decide where it lands.
