Breeder’s Notebook

Come see what’s got my attention.

I make my rounds through the collection and something always gives me a reason to stop. A weird leaf. A cross I’ve been waiting on. A tiny detail doing way too much.

This is where I bring y’all along. Anthurium experiments, observations, breeding decisions, and whatever has my attention in the grow. Some things need a trial. Some just deserve a closer look.

The Pink Seed Trial

Some pink. Some cream. Same batch, and a question I want to follow into germination and the first leaves.

Seeds harvested. First observation recorded. The tracking setup comes next.

Everything starts somewhere.

A seed. A leaf. A pairing I can’t stop thinking about. This Notebook follows the things I’m curious enough to keep coming back to.

There’s room for the weird stuff, the work behind a cross, and the things that change my mind. If an observation turns into a trial, you’ll be able to follow what I did and what happened. If I’m still wondering, I’ll say that too.

The grow keeps going.
