One healthy, actively growing 3 leaf seedling.
Carlablackiae JPG.2 × BVEP “Sun”
JPG.2 is an original JiggyPlantGuy Carlablackiae selection retained for dark velvet saturation, broad structure and interrupted/misbar vein character.
Sun is retained under its named BVEP / Anthurium antolakii designation and used here for the warmer surface character and emergent movement I watch in the clone.
I paired these because they approach velvet from different directions. JPG.2 gives me darker structure and restraint; Sun gives me more warmth, sheen and movement to work against it.
These are traits I’m watching for from the parents, not guarantees.
At three leaves there is enough to start reading direction, but I still want to see how the seedling behaves when the foliage gets larger and the mature surface starts to settle in.
SOLD OUT / CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE
Sold out only means there is no inventory available right now. This cross remains part of the Jiggy Vault, and I’ll update stock as more material is ready. Keep going for the breeding notes, provenance and related genetics, or see what is available today.
THE JIGGY PICK
I select from the available batch at shipping time, starting with the strongest, healthiest material and the best expression of the traits I’m watching for at that stage. If one is showing out and makes me stop and say, “Sheesh,” that is usually the one I’m reaching for.
YOU'RE ENTERING THE STORY HERE
Unless a listing explicitly says otherwise, photos document the genetics, parent material or representative plants. Your order is Grower’s Choice from the available batch.
STRONG ROOTS FIRST.
Keep the plant stable after arrival and give it time to settle before chasing the next leaf. For my full approach to acclimation, ambient growing, cabinets, seedlings and established plants, use the Jiggy Care Guide.

When this plant leaves the Jiggy Vault, the story is not over. Settle it in, learn what it likes, ask when you need help, and enjoy what the genetics become in your hands. When an emergent has you saying OMG, send it my way. That is the fun of #Jiggybabies.
The Care Guide gives you a starting point, and I am still here if your plant has you confused.
Plant safety, honest expectations and support after delivery are part of the same standard.
Emergents, first big leaves, weird surprises and those “that’s fire” moments are worth sharing with the people growing alongside you.
