(Variegated Big Black Block × Pumpkin Spice) × (Variegated Wonderboy × Papillilaminum)
The first parent is the variegated line carried in the listing under the “Kaleidoscope” shorthand. The second parent combines Variegated Wonderboy with Papillilaminum. The current source record does not document a fuller breeder/acquisition chain, so I’m not adding one after the fact.
I wanted two different variegated directions in the same population while keeping enough velvet and mature structure underneath the color for the plant to remain worth growing.
These seedlings showed visible variegation at release, but future pattern, intensity and stability are not guaranteed.
Visible variegation gets attention, but I’m still watching the whole plant. The better result is a seedling that grows well and keeps enough structure to stand on its own regardless of how the pattern changes.
