(Carlablackiae × Portillae) × (Carlablackiae × Dressleri) × (Carlablackiae × Dressleri)
Carlablackiae is stacked repeatedly through this project and acts as the dark velvet backbone. Portillae adds a longer, more refined direction, while the Dressleri influence is there for texture, structure and mature leaf weight.
The Igris Backcross was created and germinated by JiggyPlantGuy from collector-sourced parent material.
This is a structure-heavy follow-up to the Igris direction. I made the backcross to keep pushing the dark velvet and architectural side instead of throwing another unrelated set of genetics into it. This is not a flash hybrid. It is a long-game velvet build.
You are buying this at the germinated-seed stage. Expression is still completely open and every seedling can take a different direction.
This release is for the collector who actually likes the beginning. You get the root, the genetics and a whole lot of unanswered questions. Strong roots first. Leaves will follow. Then we find out what you grew.
