This parent came from Scott Cohen and combines Carlablackiae with Dressleri.
I made this pairing to see how the more refined Carlablackiae side would interact with the added substance and texture coming through Dressleri. I’m interested in siblings that keep the velvet and structure balanced instead of leaning too hard in one direction.
These are traits I’m watching for from the parents, not guarantees. Seed-grown Anthuriums can vary significantly.
This is still the beginning of the grow-out. At germinated-seed stage I care more about a clean start and healthy root development than trying to predict the finished plant.
