Shipping & Live Arrival

Shipping and Live Arrival

Every Jiggy plant and seed is packed with real care and intention here in Connecticut.
Orders typically ship within three to five business days, always with weather awareness in mind so your plant travels as safely as possible. Tracking is provided the moment your order is on the way.

When your plant arrives, open it as soon as you can and allow it time to breathe, settle, and adjust to its new environment. Some light stress from travel is normal. Strong roots and stable care will guide the next phase of growth.

Because these are live plants and fresh seeds, all sales are final.
If your order arrives damaged or there is any concern, contact me within twenty four hours of delivery with clear photos of the plant and packaging so I can properly support you.

Your success matters here. I am always in your corner.

Care and Growing Guidance

Care and Growing Guidance

Your Jiggy plant was grown with patience and intention and is ready to begin the next chapter with you.

Provide bright indirect light, warm temperatures, and steady humidity whenever possible.
Water when the medium begins to approach dryness, keeping roots lightly moist but never saturated. Consistency always wins over perfection.

Give the plant time to adjust after shipping before making major environmental changes. Strong roots first. Leaves will follow.

Growth is a relationship, not a race.
Stay patient. Stay observant. Stay connected to the process.

If you ever need guidance, have questions, or simply want to share progress, I am always here to help.

Welcome to growing Jiggy.

Plant Details and Genetics

Plant Details and Genetics

This plant is part of the active Jiggy breeding program built around intentional crosses, strong lineage, and real collector level selection.

Every seedling is grown from verified parent plants and raised in a controlled environment focused on root health, stability, and long term development. No rushed growth. No filler plants. Only material I would confidently keep in my own collection.

Because division, seed variation, and phenotype expression are natural in living genetics, each plant will continue to develop its own character over time. That unfolding is part of the beauty of true breeding work.

What you are holding is not just a plant.
It is a living piece of an evolving lineage.

Cross

Dorito Portillae × Kunayalense × (Carlablackiae × Flat Besseae)

About This Cross

This hybrid was intentionally designed around width, flat structure, calm velvet presence, and mature composure rather than exaggerated movement or unstable form.

Even at the juvenile stage, several seedlings are already showing broad silhouettes, flatter posture, and clean organized structure that hint strongly toward the mature direction of the line.

The Dorito Portillae × Kunayalense side contributes width, refined velvet texture, and elegant control.

Dorito brings dramatic dark presence and broad architectural posture while Kunayalense softens the line with flatter calmer presentation and more composed surface movement.

Layered beneath that foundation is the Carlablackiae × Flat Besseae influence.

This side introduces deeper saturation, heavier visual mass, and controlled broad structure while preserving flatter mature silhouette tendencies rather than exaggerated lobing or aggressive elongation.

The result is a line that feels disciplined, atmospheric, and structurally intentional.

Early Seedling Direction

Several seedlings are already showing broad blade development, flatter posture, and clean organized juvenile structure unusually early in growth.

The line appears to be leaning heavily toward composed wide velvet presentation rather than narrow elongated forms.

Even at 2–3 leaves, the structural direction already feels intentional.

Expected Traits

• Broad mature leaf presentation with flatter posture
• Open to wide sinus expression
• Velvet texture with medium to deep saturation potential
• Controlled refined venation rather than loud contrast
• Strong potential for wide mature blades over elongated frames
• Calm architectural silhouette with layered shadowy presence
• Individual mature expression will vary between seedlings

What You Are Purchasing

One healthy 2–3 leaf seedling from the
Dorito Portillae × Kunayalense × (Carlablackiae × Flat Besseae) pairing.

This is an actively developing juvenile plant with early structural traits already beginning to establish while still leaving significant room for mature transformation over time.

Grower Notes

This line feels composed in a really satisfying way.

The Dorito influence contributes darkness, atmosphere, and broad structure while Kunayalense and Flat Besseae help flatten and organize the overall presentation rather than pushing exaggerated movement.

The Carlablackiae side anchors the pairing with density, depth, and mature velvet authority.

Some seedlings may mature into broad shadowy velvet specimens with understated elegance while others may lean heavier and darker with stronger visual mass and dramatic mature presence.

This release was built for collectors who appreciate restraint, structure, and long-term beauty over temporary hype.

Care Expectations

Stable warmth, elevated humidity, and consistency are essential during early establishment.

Bright indirect light, evenly moist roots, and an airy substrate will support healthy velvet development and strong structural growth over time.

Patience is part of the process.

The best traits in this line are expected to develop slowly with maturity.
