One Germinated Seed
Structured Velvet Hybrid
Limited Release from Jiggy Plant Guy
⸻
• One germinated seed, freshly sprouted and actively growing
• Selected for vigor and early stability
• Each seedling is genetically unique
⸻
This hybrid was built with intention around width, flat structure, and calm surface presence.
Both mother plants lean wide and flat rather than upright or narrow, establishing a foundation that favors broad blades, open sinuses, and balanced posture from an early stage.
Dorito Portillae × Kunyalense
Contributes refined velvet texture with controlled veining while maintaining width and an open sinus. This side of the pairing keeps expression clean and composed without sacrificing surface richness.
Carlablackiae × Flat Besseae
Adds depth, darker saturation potential, and mass without forcing exaggerated lobing. This influence reinforces density and presence while preserving a flatter, more disciplined silhouette.
Together, this cross is designed to mature into balanced, collector grade velvet foliage rather than extreme or unstable forms.
⸻
• Wide leaf presentation with flatter posture
• Open to wide sinus expression
• Velvet texture with medium to deep saturation potential
• Veining present but controlled, not overly loud
• Strong likelihood of broad mature leaves rather than elongated frames
As with all seed grown Anthurium, individual expression will vary. That variation is part of the value.
⸻
• Germinated seed stage
• Early care should prioritize warmth, humidity, and consistency
• Expect gradual development with trait clarity increasing as leaves size up
